Quality Inspector - Quality

1st shift

Qualifications:

  • 5 yrs minimum exp in a manufacturing industry (metal fabrication through machining & stamping) in a Manufacturing or Quality Tech role
  • Experience in Aerospace, Medical, Defense & Automotive quality inspection requirements
  • Strong understanding of all "blueprint" GD&T requirements & experience with all inspection methods (vision, touch probe. laser) with programming capability preferred
  • Understanding of quality tools (gage calibration, Gage R&R, SPC). Ability to perform all manual layout type inspections with related equipment
  • Ability to function in a Team environment (SDWT), respond to changing priorities, take direction from Sr. leadership and lead quality inspectors in operations
  • Ability to lift up to 351bs unassisted

Fourslide Toolmaker - Fourslide

2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience on four slide tooling
  • Ability to read/understand blue prints for tooling and production
  • Working knowledge & practical experience in the use of statistical process control & production
  • Standards, cost of quality and manufacturing methods
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, Gages, Optical comparators)
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Fourslide Set Up - Fourslide

1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm) (1 opening)

2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) (1 opening)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience setting-up four-slide machines.
  • Ability to read/understand blue prints for production manufacturing
  • Working knowledge & practical experience in the use of statistical process control & production
  • Strong math skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, Gages, Optical comparators)
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Set-up Person – Large Coil

2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Ability to set up and operate Torin 12A, 125, 13A or any other Spring coiling equipment a plus
  • Ability to inspect loads & rate, use micrometers, verniers and optical comparator, gage pins
  • Knowledge in Blueprint reading & interpretation
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Set-up Person – Small Coil

2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Ability to set up and operate Sleeper & Hartley Series 791, 7900, 720 & Torrington W-10A or any other Spring coiling equipment a plus
  • Ability to inspect loads & rate, use micrometers, verniers and optical comparator, gage pins
  • Knowledge in Blueprint reading & interpretation

Quality Support Administrator- Quality Control

1st shift

Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) are required
  • Familiarity with Cad Cam & Discus
  • Experience in QC (inspection, receiving inspection, OV, logistics, etc) with background in documentation processes and procedures
  • Ability to articulate and transfer data (numeric and language)
  • Blueprint or Material specification experience
  • Ability to comprehend data while working w/engineering
  • Corrective action system experience
  • Ability to multi-task with changing priorities
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Must be able to meet project deadlines (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, etc)
  • Ability to function in a SDWT environment
