Assembly Production

Our customers often ask us to produce multiple parts that are used in a common product family. At CSS, we take it to the next step to process multiple parts and components into a finished mechanical assembly, providing our customers with more value, flexibility, and efficiency. As part of our move towards increasing machining capabilities, we have greatly expanded our component assembly capabilities. With our ability to produce components efficiently and at a lower cost, we help customers from all industries increase their business while minimizing capital expenditures and limiting the need for labor force growth.

Our value-added assembly services include both fully and semi-automatic processes, sub-assembly capabilities, and the ability to use manufactured components, purchased components, or customer-supplied materials. Assembly processes may include:

  • Welding (ultrasonic, resistance, laser)
  • Staking
  • Pressing
  • Fastening (various fastener systems can be used)
  • Crimping
  • Semi and fully automated mechanical assembly
