Machined Stamping Production

Precision post-machining enhances CSS' stamping capabilities, since we can integrate specific design features that are not attainable in the primary stamping process. Examples of such features include: small diameter holes, holes with no die break, milled edges where another component may ride (bearing surface), as well as milled features at the part’s edge where another part rests (contact surface). By stamping and forming prior to machining any features, we can produce stamping designs for our customers that are more cost-effective and add greater value. This approach has proven to reduce costs for certain part designs.

CSS operates CNC machining centers that produce completely smooth edges on slots, channels and holes. This is especially important for metal parts where smooth edge conditions are critical (often for medical instrument and firearms components). Our state-of-the-art equipment includes a variety of Fadal, Hyundai-Kia and Tsugami vertical machining centers.
