Supervisor - Maintenance

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 yrs experience repairing industrial machinery
  • Tool making or machinist trade certification preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage small department using Lean concepts
  • Ability to schedule work, provide knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice when needed
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Toolmaker - Secondary Power Press - **TOP PAY FOR TOOLMAKERS**

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am) - Full time or Part time available (part time hours flexible..split shift, any days for 2nd shift)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exp. in maintenance & trouble shooting of secondary tooling
  • Well versed in all measuring equipment
  • Ability to set-up and use all tool making machinery
  • Ability to operate various secondary presses
  • Management experience preferred
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Director of Lean Initiatives - Support

1st shift (7:00am-4:30pm)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or demonstration of equivalent skills.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Lean Management leadership experience.
  • Full understanding of Lean Mfg systems and philosophy as well as participative team management style
  • Full understanding of pull system methodologies, how to reduce lead times, inventory reduction and waste factors
  • Ability to evaluate, coordinate and monitor internal Lean initiatives using: 5S, setup reduction, visual management, standard work, cellular design, Kanban, VSM, mistake proofing, DMAC
  • Excellent computer skills, project management, written and verbal communication skills

Set up / Operator – Secondary Power Press - 2 openings

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am)

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 yrs experience in set up and operation of department equipment
  • Experience working with stamping presses and open tooling
  • Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to machine tools & equipment as required to support production
  • May operate as needed to meet department requirements
  • Ability to remove tools from equipment for major repairs or service or at conclusion of a production run
  • Assist department tool & diemakers with trouble shooting and analysis
  • May include responsibility for instructing & working with department operators
  • Participate in LEAN, 5s and SDWT projects
  • Strong solid understanding of basic QC tools and the ability to perform in process and first piece inspection
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Tool & Diemaker – Auto Power Press - **TOP PAY FOR TOOLMAKERS**

2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ yrs toolmaking experience in a manufacturing environment
  • CT approved
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Progressive stamping background required
  • Self starter with strong work ethic / production oriented
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Set up / Operator - Auto Power Press - 3 openings

1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm)

2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 yrs experience in operation of department equipment
  • Experience working with 100-300 ton stamping presses
  • Tend machine working to quality specifications , inspecting parts off machine
  • Responsible for stopping machine when issues are detected
  • May perform various benchwork as needed
  • Assisting set-up person with installing tools & getting production run underway
  • Maintaining production & quality records during production run
  • Perform basic machine maintenance functions
  • Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
  • Participate in LEAN, 5s and SDWT projects
  • Strong solid understanding of basic QC tools and the ability to perform in process and first piece inspection
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Fourslide Toolmaker - Tool Cell - **TOP PAY FOR TOOLMAKERS**

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

Qualifications:

  • FourSlide / Multi-Slide tooling Minimum of 5 years experience in the Set-up, Trouble shooting & Production.
  • Ability to read/understand blue prints as needed for production manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with ISO quality standards.
  • Knowledge of Lean Mfg and its components (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5s, etc)
  • Experience with production standards and manufacturing methods.
  • Self Motivated and Detail driven work ethic.
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Itaya Set-up Person - Auto Loop

1st shift

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Ability to set up typical Multi-Axis Itaya CNC wire formers (MCX and MX type machines)
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, comparator)
  • Ability to read & interpret Blueprints in English & Metric
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communications skills both verbal & written
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Quality Engineer - Quality

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or higher from accredited college or university
  • 10+ years exp in a manufacturing environment with aerospace, automotive & medical quality standards
  • Hands on inspection experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers & Company personnel at all levels is essential
  • Strong computer skills (word, excel, etc)
  • Ability to work OT as required
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Quality Technician 2 - Quality

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

Qualifications:

  • 5 years minimum experience in all aspects of spring inspection
  • 1st piece inspection, in process and final inspection of wire forms, compression, extension and torsion springs required
  • Ability to record quality results on inspection forms. Maintain forms and charts of inspection data, quality levels or quality studies
  • Perform assigned routine tests on product in process or finished product where results are compared with Company standards
  • Ability to perform capability studies required
