1st shift – Set Flexible Hours

2nd shift – 2:30pm-11:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Set-up – Trouble shooting, Component Fabrication and Production of progressive, compound, four slide and secondary tooling.
  • CT approved (apprenticeship completed) journeyperson
  • Ability to read - understand blue prints and GDT as needed for production manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in production environments. Progressive stamping background required
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality standards and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in a production environment.
  • Familiar with Medical and Aerospace (ISO13485 & AS9100) working environments.
  • An understanding of Manufacturing Engineering - Quality Engineering - Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and its components (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S, etc.)
  • Familiar with principles of concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Experience with production standards, cost of quality and manufacturing methods.
  • Self starter with strong work ethic / production oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate.
  • Requires a very high degree of precision and control in their work.
  • Knowledgeable in set up of progressive dies, presses & Wintress die controls.
  • High degree of attention and care required, preventing injury to self and others when operating machine tools.
  • Ability to make independent judgment decisions.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, machining, secondary operations, etc.)
  • Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.

Qualifications:

  • High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in set-up, trouble shooting, and production operation of Multi-Slide/Fourslide/Verti-Slide machines
  • Ability to read-understand blue prints as needed for production manufacturing.
  • Ability to Set-up, adjust & operate Fourslide machines (V81 & V82)
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in a production environment
  • An understanding of manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, lean manufacturing and its components (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S, etc)
  • Familiar with principles of concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly
  • Experience with production standards, cost of quality and manufacturing methods
  • Detail and task driven work ethic
  • Ability to work OT as required in order to meet Company needs

Apprenticeship Program

Our apprenticeship program provides paid, on the job, hands on training for employees interested in specializing in specific trades. Apprentices can be hired internally or externally. In the words of a former apprentice, “The nice thing about the apprenticeship program is you’re making money the entire time you learn and work which you can’t do in many jobs.”
