Quality Engineer - Quality

1st shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Requires direct experiences working in a metal form/metal stamping environment
  • Bachelor degree or higher from accredited college or university or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Must have 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with aerospace, automotive, and medical quality standards, hands on inspection experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel at all levels is essential
  • Computer literate.

Quality Technician - Quality

2nd shift – 3:30pm-12:00am

Qualifications:

  • High school or technical school education, or equivalent, with mathematics emphasis.
  • Experience with operating gauges and testing equipment.
  • Perform Inspections on parts using various hand tools, comparators and other inspection equipment
  • Stage parts for measurement according to the print and/or specifications, including GD&T specifications as appropriate
  • Performs assigned routine tests on product in process or finished product where results are compared with company standards.
  • Inspects visually for obvious defects.
  • Performs detailed inspection to determine quality of product where limits are not clearly defined.
  • Notifies leader or supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when incidents of poor quality are noted.
  • Records quality results on inspection forms. Maintains forms and charts of inspection data, quality levels, or quality studies.
  • Make recommendations on disposition of questionable product to supervisor/leader.

Machinist - Maintenance

1st shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

Qualifications:

  • High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in the field of machine maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to operate Forklift equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Ability to make independent judgment decisions.

General Machinist - Secondary PP

2nd shift – 3:00pm-11:30pm

Qualifications:

  • High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in the field of machine maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot & repair laser & peen machine lasers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to operate forklift equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent judgment decisions.

Fourslide Tool & Die maker – Fourslide - 2 openings

1st shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

2nd shift – FLEXIBLE HOURS

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Set-up – Trouble shooting, Component Fabrication and Production Four slide and secondary tooling.
  • CT approved (apprenticeship completed) journeyperson.
  • Ability to read - understand blue prints and GDT as needed for production manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in production environments.
  • Fourslide Tooling background required.
  • NC Machine controller & programming background desired or the ability to learn as required.
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality standards and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in a production environment.
  • Self starter with strong work ethic / production oriented.

Progressive Die & Fourslide Tool Designer - Engineering/Tool Cell

1st shift – FLEXIBLE HOURS

Qualifications:

  • Expert in Design of Complex Progressive Dies / Secondary Tooling / Fourslide Tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Expert in using CAD-CAM Software : SolidWorks / Auto CAD.
  • Proficient in toolroom inspection equipment.
  • Directs/assists in all phases of production implementation to production release.
  • Designs tools and dies necessary to produce parts to customer specifications.
  • Design gauges to verify print to blueprint.
  • Frequently lends technical support to toolmakers, customers and CSS vendors in the design method and ultimate production of a proposed item.
  • Maintains, follows, and challenges established engineering procedures.

Set up Operator – Small Coil

1st shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

Qualifications:

  • High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.
  • Knowledge of Sleeper & Hartley coiler series 790/7900 and BHS Torin mechanical spring coiling machines
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge)

Set up Operator – Auto Power Press

1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience with complex progressive stamping tools
  • Strong/Solid blueprint reading skills
  • Ability to use comparator and other measuring tools to perform in process inspections
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written

CNC Set up Technician - CNC

1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years exp set up, program edits, fixture set up, transfer from R&D to production
  • Proficient with Master Cam, Tsugami & Bridgeport vertical CNC machines, Caron and Elbo system
  • Knowledge of inspection equipment, CMM, Optical Comparator, Lay out inspection
  • Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgement

Tool & Die maker – Secondary Power Press

1st shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experienced in maintenance & trouble shooting of secondary tooling
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints, GD&T as needed for production
  • Well versed in all measuring equipment
  • Ability to set up and use all tool making machinery
  • Ability to operate various secondary press
  • Self starter with strong work ethic / production oriented

Tool & Die maker – Auto Power Press

2nd shift – 3:00pm-11:30pm (hours are flexible)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Set-up – Trouble shooting, Component Fabrication and Production of progressive, compound, four slide and secondary tooling.
  • CT approved (apprenticeship completed) journeyperson
  • Ability to read - understand blue prints and GDT as needed for production manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in production environments.
  • Progressive stamping background required
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality standards and practical experience with the use of statistical process control in a production environment.
  • Familiar with Medical and Aerospace (ISO13485 & AS9100) working environments.
  • An understanding of Manufacturing Engineering - Quality Engineering - Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and its components (i.e. Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S, etc.)
  • Familiar with principles of concurrent engineering and design for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Experience with production standards, cost of quality and manufacturing methods.
  • Self Starter with strong work ethic / production oriented

Auto Loop - Set-up Operator 2

1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years exp setting up and operating Itaya MCX and MX wireforming machines
  • Experience on additional Itaya and MEC loopers preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and be able to measure parts using appropriate inspection equipment
  • Ability to remove old tool and replace with new tool
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted

General Machinist - Tool Cell - 2 openings

2nd shift – FLEXIBLE HOURS

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience using general shop equipment
    • Wet & Dry Grinder
    • Lathe
    • BridgePort
    • CNC Milling Machine
    • Optical Compartitor
    • Inspection Equipment
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints
